Mayflower Premium Cassandra is an exclusive, luxurious yarn, spun in Peru from the finest brushed fibers. The yarn is part of the Premium series, which consists of exclusive yarns of the highest quality, spun from natural fibers.
Peruvian baby alpaca is the absolute finest and softest among alpaca fibers. It is also very warm and particularly durable. The merino wool in Cassandra is also special, as it is extra fine. The fiber composition with a silk binder makes Cassandra just as delicious, soft, and exclusive as it sounds.
If you knit or crochet with Cassandra alone, the result is exceptionally light and airy, and as a companion thread together with, for example, wool, the finished result has a beautiful, fluffy expression with extra softness.
