Linum 'Recycled Linen' is a pretty chain plied yarn with a soft cotton fiber base with a natural recycled linen core. The particular structure of Linum yarn is subtly irregularly spun, thus providing a charming rustic texture to more modern pieces. With Linum you will enjoy both the natural aspect of the linen and its surprisingly soft and cloud-like feel. Linum is RCS-certified, the official certification from the ICEA institute that guarantees that recycled materials have been used in the yarn’s manufacturing.
Technical specifications
Each ball of yarn weighs 50g and has 100 metres. This is a medium weight yarn and we recommend using size 7-8 US / 4,5-5 mm knitting needles and size 8 - I9 US / 5-5,5 mm crochet hooks. 8 balls of yarn are needed to make a woman's size 12 short sleeve jumper. For the 4x4" / 10x10 cm tension square work 19 stitches and 25 rows. Machine washable up to 30º. Do not tumble dry. Do not spin.
