Amadora
Amadora is hand-dyed wool yarn in extra fine merino wool. The yarn is not completely solid-colored but instead has a 'semi-solid' appearance, giving the luxurious yarn a beautiful play of colors.
In addition to its beautiful colors, the yarn also stands out for being exceptionally soft. Extra fine merino wool is characterized by having finer fibers than regular merino. Therefore, you get a yarn with even greater softness, so even those with sensitive skin can wear clothes made from Amadora. It is superwash-treated and can therefore be machine washed, making it easy to keep clean and neat.
Part of the charm of hand-dyed yarn is that each skein is unique in its color play. When knitting with hand-dyed yarn, it is therefore important to ensure that you have enough yarn for your project. Also, be aware that differences between individual dye lots vary more than regular machine-dyed yarn. When you change skeins along the way, we recommend knitting/crocheting a few rounds alternately with the new skein and the old one to make the transition smoother/less noticeable.
The yarn comes in skeins of 100g and goes a long way. Estimate about 3 skeins for a basic sweater in size M
