DROPS Eskimo is a soft, thick, and easy-to-work single-ply yarn (roving) made from 100% pure new wool, perfect for creating wonderfully warm and comfortable garments. It's also ideal for felting!
The wool fibers used to make this yarn are untreated, meaning the wool was simply washed before dyeing and not chemically pre-treated. This allows the natural properties of the wool to shine through, resulting in a better fit and texture.
DROPS Eskimo is a very popular winter yarn available in three different color types: uni colour – a range of solid colors; mix – where several shades are carded together before spinning to create a blended effect; and print – featuring playful, irregular variations of colors and resulting patterns.
